These terms apply to this website and to London Baltic Tech Hub events (“events”). By using the site or RSVPing to an event you agree to them. They’re written in plain English on purpose.

1. Who runs this

London Baltic Tech Hub is organised by London Baltic Tech Hub, London, United Kingdom. Contact:hello@londonbaltic.tech.

2. RSVPs and attendance

  • Events are free to attend unless a specific event page says otherwise. Some events are open to a specific audience (for example, professionals from one Baltic country); we say so on the event page and may decline RSVPs that fall outside it. An RSVP is a request for a place, not a guarantee; places are limited and allocated in the order RSVPs are received.
  • If an event is full you’ll be placed on a waitlist and we’ll email you if a place becomes available.
  • If you can no longer attend, please let us know by replying to your confirmation email so we can offer your place to someone else. Repeated no-shows may mean we can’t confirm you for future events.
  • RSVPs are personal and can’t be transferred without telling us first.
  • We may change the venue, timing, speakers or content of an event, or cancel it. We’ll email registered attendees as soon as we can if that happens. We’re not responsible for any travel or other costs you incur.

3. Being a good guest

We want everyone to feel welcome. Please be respectful of other attendees, speakers, organisers and venue staff. Harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour of any kind isn’t tolerated, and we may ask anyone behaving that way to leave and decline future RSVPs. Events take place in licensed venues; please drink responsibly and follow the venue’s own rules. You must be 18 or over to attend.

4. Not a sales floor

Talks are there to share, not to sell. Please don’t use events or the attendee list for unsolicited marketing. We’ll never share your details with other attendees, speakers or sponsors without your permission.

5. Content and opinions

Speakers and attendees express their own views. Nothing said at an event or published on this site is professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of it. Do your own checks before acting on anything you hear.

6. Photography and recording

We may photograph or record parts of an event for our website and social channels. We’ll let you know on the night, and if you’d rather not appear just tell an organiser. Please ask before photographing or recording other attendees yourself.

7. Website use

  • You can use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t try to break it, scrape it, or submit false or automated RSVPs.
  • The London Baltic Tech Hub name, logo and site content are ours (or our licensors’). You’re welcome to share links; please don’t reproduce the content without asking.
  • We do our best to keep the site accurate and available but can’t promise it will always be either.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or attendance at an event, and our total liability to you is limited to any amount you paid us for the event in question (which, for free events, is nothing).

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top tells you when. The version in force when you RSVP applies to that event. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
